Standard Chartered to sell its entire 7% CDSL stake for Rs 1,250 crore – Times of India

MUMBAI: Standard Chartered is selling its entire 7.2% holding in CDSL, the biggest depository in the country, for about Rs 1,250 crore ($151 million) through block deals on Wednesday. All of 75 lakh CDSL shares currently held by the UK-headquartered bank are being sold at a minimum price of Rs 1,672 per share (6.5% discount to the closing price), the deal’s term sheet showed.
