iPhone SE 4 said to get a major upgrade in battery and design

iPhone SE 4 has been in the leaks for a long time now and there is still no strong confirmation of when it will arrive. The iPhone SE 4 is also now rumoured to pack the same battery that the iPhone 14 offers. This also suggests that the form factor of the SE 4 will be the same as the iPhone 14 and so the display size should also be the same. The last year’s model features a 6.1-inch screen. If this happens, it will be delightful for iPhone fans to have in the budget range.

The battery leak came from MacRumors. The cited source reported that some prototypes show a big battery upgrade could be coming, with the device (D59) sporting Li-Ion batteries (model A2863) matching the iPhone 14’s 3,279mAh capacity. This will be up from the compact 1,261mAh battery seen on the iPhone SE 3.

This leak not only suggests improved battery performance but also aligns with earlier rumors of significant feature upgrades. The iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to debut with an OLED display from BOE, an Action Button, and a USB-C port, promising a notable advancement for Apple’s budget-friendly smartphone lineup.
