Anupam Mittal, the founder of Shaadi.com and one of the judges of Shark Tank India, has extended his help and support to Lalit Rajbanshi, a young cricketer from Nepal, after a photograph of him meeting Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma, went viral.
Mittal stepped forward with his generous offer after Rajbanshi’s struggles regarding the lack of a proper cricket kit went viral. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Nepal cricketer Lalit Rajbanshi said, “I’ve bat to play in nets, but I don’t have a suitable one for international matches. During actual games, I rely on my teammates’ bats & they lend me their bats. I mostly use Kushal Bhurtel’s bat.”
The businessman took to the micro-blogging site to commit to sponsoring high-quality cricket kits for the young player, asking the internet to help him connect with Rajbanshi.
