Now Google will let you create your own custom emoji, here is how

Google introduced the Emoji Kitchen feature for its Gboard app on Android a few years ago. The feature allows users to mix and match emojis to create fun emoji stickers. Starting Wednesday, the company announced that it has integrated the feature into its Search so that all web users, including iPhone users, can access it and create their own custom emoji stickers to share across platforms.

Google Emoji Kitchen in Google Search allows users to create their own custom emoji stickers and play with the different possible combinations. It is available in Google web search and can be accessed from any device, whether that be a desktop computer, an iPhone, or anything else.

To use Google’s Emoji Kitchen, users can tap on the first emoji to choose which one starts the combination. They can then click on the second emoji to either pick a random combination or another manual selection.

How to use Google Emoji Kitchen in Search

  • Go to Google Search and type “Emoji Kitchen”.
  • Click on the “Get cooking” prompt.
  • You will see a list of emojis on the left side of the screen.
  • Click on the first emoji that you want to use.
  • A list of possible combinations will appear on the right side of the screen.
  • Click on the second emoji that you want to use.
  • The combined emoji sticker will appear on the screen.
  • You can copy and paste the sticker into a messaging app or social media platform.
  • You can also use the randomizer to create a random combination of emojis. To do this, simply click on the “Random” button.

Although the web version of Emoji Kitchen doesn’t have as many combinations as compared to the Gboard version, it is still fun to use the mashup tool available on more types of devices.

Google has also integrated generative AI into its Search tool in India and Japan. The AI enhancement will allow users to see text or visual results in their local languages. According to Google, generative AI will help users better understand topics by providing short videos and images on the search result page. These videos and images will be based on a conversational pattern, covering different aspects of the topic to give users the complete picture.

Additionally, Google’s generative AI-powered Search will provide an overview of the key information to consider for a topic, with links to learn more. This includes follow-up questions, such as “How to take great photos on a trek?”.
