Sanya Malhotra plays a pivotal role in ‘Jawan’. The Atlee-Shah Rukh Khan’s directorial is all set to break records. Domestically, the film has already close to earning Rs 400 crore worldwide. It has already crossed the Rs 500 crore mark. This was the first time Sanya shared screen space with SRK. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actress revealed that doing scenes with SRK was nerve-wrecking for her.
SANYA ON BEING NERVOUS ABOUT SHOOTING WITH SRK
“There were times when I felt nervous. There were times when I had to do a scene with him and I knew he was looking at me, but he makes you feel very comfortable. It was never Shah Rukh Khan the superstar, it was always Azad or Vikram Rathod on sets. He is brilliant at what he does. He is so down to earth, so despite feeling nervous at times, we were into our characters the moment Atlee Sir called for action,” Sanya told IndiaToday.in.
‘I MET HIM ON SETSâæ’
Sanya added that she was nervous the first time she met SRK. “I was very excited and nervous the first time I met him on sets. That’s the day we all realised that this was really happening. This was two years back,” she recounted.
The Jawan star also mentioned that it was a dream come true for her dancing with SRK, who was quite an energy ball on the sets. She mentioned that he would not sit on sets despite scorching heat in Chennai.
‘Jawan’ is released in theatres on September 7, 2023.
