The 2023 VMAs was held today in the USA. The event saw prominent artists like Taylor Swift, SZA, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, and Stray Kids, TxT, BLACKPINK receive nominations, with Taylor Swift leading the pack. The awards also marked Stray Kids’ debut performance on the VMAs stage and TxT and Anitta showcased an exhilarating performance.
STRAY KIDS DEBUT PERFORMANCE AT VMAs
Stray Kids members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N made sure to leave the entire crowd captivated by their performance on ‘S Class’. In another video, Taylor Swift is seen jamming and vibing to their performance on stage. The 8 members led the choreography to deliver an impactful stage. Stray Kids also marked their presence on the pink carpet where they were cheered on by fans in huge numbers. The group debuted on March 25, 2018. The act won an award for Best K-pop as well.
TXT PERFORM WITH ANITTA
On the other hand, TxT performed on their latest collaboration ‘Back For More’. Beomgyu opened the act with a freestyle choreography before Soobin, Yeongjun, Hueningkai and Taehyun joined and left the fans dazzled. Anitta also joined the members on stage briefly. The choreography was sleek and the members did not disappoint. They also won an award for Sugar Rush Ride.
On the other hand, Jungkook of BTS, nominated for ‘SEVEN’, gave the show a miss. BLACKPINK, too, did not make a physical appearance at the VMAs.
