In her new Instagram post, Mira reflected on her recent holiday trips and pointed out how a lot of us go rigorous with travel itineraries. She shared a set of pictures from a recent vacation and said that strolling through art galleries is one of her favourite things to do while travelling.
“I love strolling through art galleries while travellingâæsomething about engaging in an activity that doesn’t involve eating or shopping but simply enjoying time and another’s creativity and thinking,” she wrote.
She went on to add that while holidays are mostly meant to be relaxing, we end up making elaborate checklists that often focus on ‘Instagrammable spots’. Guilty herself, Mira said that she has now made an amend.
“Despite holidays being about relaxing (for most), we have all made checklists of where to eat, what to buy, where to go and more importantly which spot is most Instagrammable. Guilty myself! But one thing that I’ve put on that checklist now is to do something that doesn’t involve buying, acquiring or portraying, but just being,” she wrote.
