Army dog laid to rest ceremonially after terrorist encounter in J&K’s Rajouri

Indian Army personnel paid last respects to dog soldier Kent, a six-year-old female labrador of the 21 Army Dog Unit.

The canine laid down her life while shielding its handler during the Rajouri encounter operation in Jammu and Kashmir. Kent was leading a column of soldiers on the trail of fleeing terrorists when it came down under fierce hostile fire.
