Alia Bhatt’s parents, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan stepped out for a movie date on Monday, September 11 night. A video of the couple making their way inside the theatre to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ has gone viral.

SRK’s ‘Jawan’ has shattered all box office records with success. Amid all the love that the film has been receiving, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan were clicked enjoying their ‘Jawan’ date night. The veteran actress took to X (previously known as Twitter) and shared a selfie with Mahesh. In her caption, she revealed that they had stepped out on a movie date after many years.
“It took @iamsrk and #Jawaan to get the both of us out on a movie date night after I don’t know how many years! And what a fabulous film – mind is blown is happy @Atlee_dir wow Sir Shah Rukh Khan gets more amazing with each film. Huge congratulations all around,” she wrote alongside the picture of the couple from the theatre.
Following this, in a viral video when the paparazzi asked them to share their thoughts on the film, Soni Razdan said that she loved every bit of the movie and Mahesh Bhatt said, “Aisi lagi jaise pure Hindustan ko, puri duniya ko lag rahi hai (We enjoyed it like the whole country and the whole world is enjoying it).”
When the paparazzi tried to chase them, the filmmaker told the cameraman, “Arre bhai, chal na.”

‘Jawan’ was released worldwide in theatres on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Directed by Atlee, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone is seen in an extended cameo.
The film was shot in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander composed for the film, and made his debut as a solo composer in Bollywood.
