Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was stranded in Delhi for two days due to a technical snag in his aircraft. The issue arose on September 10, when his plane was scheduled to take off after the conclusion of the G20 summit.

Despite the efforts of engineers to rectify the mechanical defect overnight, the Canadian delegation, including Trudeau, had to extend their stay in India.

Indian Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar was present at the airport to bid farewell to Trudeau and his entourage, expressing gratitude for his participation in the G20 summit. Finally, on September 12, Trudeau’s aircraft was cleared to fly, and he departed from Delhi at 1 pm.
