A viral video showcasing a housekeeping staff member of the Indian Railways dumping trash onto the railway tracks from a moving train has reignited concerns about waste disposal practices within the Indian Railways network.
In the video, the housekeeping staff is seen sweeping garbage from the train and then carelessly discarding it onto the railway tracks, creating a visually distressing spectacle of litter being strewn across the railway line. The video has garnered widespread attention on social media platforms, where viewers express their dismay over such irresponsible waste disposal practices.

In response to the video, Central Railways promised to take action to rectify this situation. “Please specify the train number and date of this. Will initiate action,” the department wrote.
However, people pointed out that such scenes are common on almost every train.
