Falguni and Shane Peacock, the designer couple known for their dazzling creations, gave their signature bling element a modish makeover as they presented their collection titled ‘2.0’ at the New York Fashion Week on September 11.
The global luxury design house headquartered in Mumbai with an office and showroom in New York City returned to the international fashion extravaganza after a hiatus of eight years. The designer duo collaborated with noted celebrity stylist Law Roach on board as the Creative Director for the special showcase.
The designers showcased a bold and blingy collection, featuring a bevy of silhouettes including bodysuits, corsets, blazer dresses and embellished dresses. The collection blended the raw edginess of street aesthetics with the spell-binding grandeur of sparkle and demi-couture, creating a harmonious fusion.
Each piece presented at the show was handcrafted to perfection and was a result of the dedication and skill of artisans, craftsmen, and their families from villages in West Bengal, including Malihati, Islampur, Midnapore, Kharagpur, and Marhtala.
