This CPU boasts a remarkable 5.6 billion transistors, a 60 percent increase compared to the 8 GPU, which demonstrates a 30 percent boost in speed. The Series 9 comes equipped with a second-generation ultra wideband chip, enhancing the precision of location-based features, such as precise finding. This feature ensures you never lose track of your watch. The chip also enables Apple Watch Series 9 users to control music playback on their HomePod with a simple tap.

Apple has also enhanced the watch’s display, which now boasts a peak brightness of 2,000nits. This is double that of its predecessor, the Watch Series 8. A new and exciting addition to the Apple Watch Series 9 is the “double-tap” feature. This function allows users to answer phone calls by simply tapping their index finger and thumb together.
