A person was killed and 10 others were injured in a communal clash that broke out in Maharashtra’s Satara district, the police said on Monday. The clash erupted due to an “objectionable” post on social media, added the police. The man who allegedly uploaded the post was arrested, as per the police. The incident, which took place at Pusesawali village on Sunday night led the police suspending internet services in the district. This was to prevent the spread of rumours, avoiding further conflicts, said the police. Some houses were also set on fire.
