Sunny Deol opens up about his fight with Shah Rukh Khan, calls it ‘bachpana’

Sunny Deol recently buried the hatchet with Shah Rukh Khan at ‘Gadar 2’ success party. The Bollywood actors didn’t share a good rapport in the past. Sunny had a major feud with SRK on the sets of the 1993 film ‘Darr’. Cut to now, Deol and Shah Rukh let bygones be bygones and had a heartwarming reunion. In his recent interview with a news channel, the ‘Gadar 2’ actor spoke about his infamous fight with SRK and their current equation.

Sunny Deol told India TV that Shah Rukh even watched his film ‘Gadar 2’ with his family members. Shedding light on his past feud with SRK and their current bond, the actor added, “Woh zamana (those days) when it happened, that was a different time. I say ‘People, forget what happened in those days’. One understands such things should not have happened. It was ‘bachpana’ (childish), definitely. After that, Shah Rukh and I met several times and spoke to each other about many things. We also talked about some movies. This time, he was watching my film with his entire family. And he called me up. Toh sab cheezen bahut badhiya hai. Sab kuch bahut badhiya (everything is fine now).”

ON THE WORK FRONT FOR SUNNY, SRK

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sunny is riding high on the success of ‘Gadar 2’. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film minted over Rs 500 crore at the box office. The movie marked his on-screen reunion with Ameesha Patel after their 2001 movie ‘Gadar’.

As far as SRK is concerned, he has delivered yet another blockbuster of 2023. After ‘Pathaan’, Shah Rukh’s ‘Jawan’ has taken the box office by storm. He featured in the movie with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. The Atlee released on September 7.
