BMW India today announced the launch of the 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature. Priced at Rs 75,90,000 (ex-showroom), the car is being produced locally at BMW Group Plant Chennai. Bookings are now open for the vehicle.
At the heart of the 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature is a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine (with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology), which develops 258hp and 400Nm. It comes mated to an 8-speed steptronic sport automatic transmission. The car can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 6.5 seconds. There are several ride modes like Comfort, Comfort+, Sport, Eco Pro and Adaptive.
The BMW 630i M Sport Signature is available in Mineral White, Tanzanite Blue, Skyscraper Grey and Carbon Black colour options. The car has BMW Laserlight, which is unique in this segment, slope-like roofline, LED rearlights and a couple of freeform chrome-plated tailpipes.
Inside the cabin of the 630i M Sport Signature, you get features like electrically-adjustable seats, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting with six dimmable designs, Harman Kardon surround sound system, 16 speaker system with woofers, four-zone automatic climate control, electroplated controls, and electrically-adjustable roller sunblinds.
It comes loaded with BMW Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7.0, which includes 3D navigation, 12.3-inch fully-digital digital instrument panel and 12.3-inch control display. The rear-seat entertainment professional comprises of two 10.25-inch touchscreen monitors with full-HD technology.
The 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature gets safety features like six airbags, attentiveness assistance, ABS with brake assist, dynamic stability control including dynamic traction control and electronic dDifferential lock control, cornering brake control, electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounting and emergency spare wheel.
