Anushka Sharma, who is married to Virat Kohli, cheered for her spouse’s performance during India’s Asia Cup 2023 Super Four ODI against Pakistan. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a screenshot of the moment when Kolhi hit a century with the caption, “Super knock, super guy. (sic)”
She also gave a shout-out to KL Rahul.
ATHIYA SHETTY PENS A NOTE FOR KL RAHUL
The match marked KL Rahul’s comeback and what a comeback it was. The batsman scored a century against Pakistan. His wife, actor Athiya Shetty, took to Instagram to share a heartwarming post for her husband and his performance.
Sharing a video of the big moment, Athiya shared a post with the caption, “Even the darkest night will end and the sun will riseâæ You are everything, I love you.#1 (sic)” Here’s the post:
VIRAT KOHLI, KL RAHUL SET RECORD FOR HIGHEST PARTNERSHIP IN ASIA CUP
Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, on Monday, September 11, set the record for the highest partnership in the history of the Asia Cup. The duo put on 233 runs in the Super Four match against Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
They broke the record set by Mohammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed way back in 2012. Hafeez and Jamshed stitched together a partnership of 224 runs for the opening wicket against India at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
